How you give us instructionsYou can give us instructions by email or other means we agree with you.
How we and our representatives are paidThe cost of providing a financial product or service to you depends on the nature and complexity of the advice, financial product and/or service provided. Generally, whenever your representative provides a recommendation for a financial product or service, your representative may be remunerated through either:
  • an initial fee for service; or
  • an ongoing fee for service; or
  • an investment fee or implementation fee; or
  • commission payments from product providers where applicable; or
  • a combination of any of the above.
Details of the ranges and amounts of remuneration are set out below. Amounts are inclusive of GST.
Type of remunerationInitialOngoing
Representative service fee$0 to $33,000$0 to $22,000
Representative service fee*0% to 5.5%0% to 1.1%
SoA preparation fee$0 to $22,000N/A
Implementation fee$0 to $11,000N/A
Investment fee*0% to 5.5%0% to 1.1%
Hourly rate$0 to $880$0 to $880
Insurance commission^0% to 60%0% to 20%
* based on a percentage of the funds invested. We do not charge asset-based fees on amounts you have borrowed. ^ based on a percentage of the premium; the initial rate applies to the first-year premium. Commissions are not payable on insurance held inside superannuation where the law prohibits them. Insurance commissions are subject to the caps and clawback rules in the life insurance reforms.

The amounts above are the most we or our representatives may charge. Your representative will give you the exact dollar amount, or the rate and how it is calculated, before you decide to proceed. For example, a 1% ongoing fee on $500,000 invested would be $5,000 a year. Where an ongoing fee applies, you must agree to it in writing, it must be renewed with you every 12 months, and you will receive an annual fee disclosure statement. We deduct fees from your accounts only with your consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Before we prepare any advice or provide financial services to you, we will discuss and agree all fees that apply. All fees and commissions are initially paid to NDT Capital before being distributed to your representative.
Benefits and conflicts of interestLack of independence. While some of our representatives do not accept any commissions on any financial products and do not charge any percentage-based fees, as the Australian financial services licensee, NDT Capital Pty Ltd authorises our representatives to accept commissions should that be how you wish to pay for their services. Accordingly, we cannot claim to be independent, impartial or unbiased under s923A(2)(a)(i)–(iii) and s923A(2)(b) of the Corporations Act 2001.

We may receive limited non-monetary benefits (for example benefits under $300, education or training benefits, and technology support) which are recorded in a register available on request. NDT Capital has no referral arrangements or related-party relationships that could influence the advice.
